I will always remember this little girl’s newborn session for so many reasons.  One – she was an absolute ANGEL during her session… rocking her ruffles and headbands like she’d been practicing doing it for 9 months.  Her parents were two of the nicest people (you know those kind of people where you just look at them and it makes you feel positivity?!) And of course, who could forget the grand finale when I had Dad holding the little angel with no diaper on and she officially welcomed him into the not-so-(let’s say…)-“clean” part of parenting.  Needless to say – I was so pumped to see this crew again and they did not disappoint.

It was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL evening in early May with some of the softest, most perfect setting sun lighting that we could have asked for… These guys ROCKED with their outfit selections… They brought a whole lot of fun and authenticity to the session.  And well – this once-tiny-peanut that I photographed last year has become a big-grinning, eye-twinkling little princess in just a year. May was an absolutely awesome month – full of a variety of different types of sessions to fast-pitch me back into the swing of things after having my son a couple of months ago.  (More blogs to come – I can’t wait to share all of them with you!)  I was very lucky to have some really incredible people as clients this past month to help me do that…  and seeing familiar faces made it that much better!  Including these guys…

I was so excited to come back together with this Mom to photograph her youngest little man after our unbelievable newborn session a year ago.  I remember this little guy being so sweet and serene during his debut in front of my lens…

… and 12 months later, while he has grown from a sleepy baby into a full-blown, active, curious toddler… that same sweetness that oozed out of him a year ago has just grown right along with him…
