When the calendar flipped to 2013 – I was SO READY to get back in the swing of things and be “officially” behind the lens and not just snap-shotting around the holidays. And I was really pumped that my first session of the new year was my second-biggest group I’ve ever photographed for a really fun, wintery session.
And by fun I mean hanging out on probably the coldest day of the Cleveland winter season! But when you have a couple high schoolers and college kids in the mix… you have to capture the moment while they’re all together! It was FREEZING, people (Free. Zing.) but this crew couldn’t have brought a more positive, fun spirit to their session… and even set the jackets aside for a couple of shots! Loved working with them…
I have been so lucky to work with some really great young people over the last year. These five couldn’t have been more nice, polite and fun. Just awesome.
I decided to have some fun and pull everyone aside for their close ups! (I told them to channel their inner “America’s Next Top Model” and push through the cold! ha! And I think they delivered beautifully!)
Yeah… I’m pretty sure that I want to look like this when I have teenage kids!
You could have fooled me that these two weren’t as excited about their close-ups!!
Always fun to make my clients think I’m crazy with my antics! But I love the candid fun in shots like these!
Thank you so much to all seven of you for such an awesome session. The freezing cold hands and snow-soaked clothes were worth it to have the opportunity to spend some time with such a great crew and get to capture these images for you! Couldn’t have asked for a a better start to my 2013 photographing year! Until next time (… a much WARMER next time!…)
