I was SOOOO excited to kick off the first photo shoot in my 4-day Oil City Spring Session stint back in my hometown… and I was so happy that it was this family of three to set the tone for an awesome weekend.
I had seen this handsome little man on Facebook and could barely wait to meet him in person. We thought it would be fun to do a couple of shots inside their home before heading outdoors to give them some images that would remind them of this exact moment in time and their day-to-day life with this little guy.
The minute I walked in the room, the little guy smiled at me as if to say, “Hey lady, you’ve never seen a 4-month-old as handsome as me!” Such a sweet, happy baby… with two parents who are so absolutely in love with him… which resulted in me barely having to do a thing … besides sit back and capture the joy…
You ever notice how Dads love to hold their kiddos in a way that makes us Moms almost have a heart attack?! But this little dude seemed pretty comfortable hanging mid-air!
As Moms, we spend a million hours cheek-to-cheek with our babies when they’re this age… and I love that we froze that moment for her… with her looking absolutely, insanely, totally (you get it) GORGE-OUS!
And Dad is so… darn… sweet with this little guy. Loved hearing him talk about how much he loves being a parent and how cool it is that that this little life belongs to him 🙂 These two are so in love with this guy… it was really beautiful to watch …
You guys were INCREDIBLE! What an awesome hour full of love and happiness! Congrats to you both on starting your journey together as a family, and I look forward to the chance to help you capture more memories in the future (in the meantime, I’ll rely on Facebook for my daily “awe’s” over the cuteness of this little guy! ha!) Until next time…
