I was so grateful to this family for being flexible when the morning of their original Oil City spring session in April felt more like Oil City Winter Sessions!  It worked out though, because we ended up with a BEAUTIFUL June night at Hasson Park when the unbelievable sea of rhododendron bushes were in full bloom to be the backdrop for this adorable little girl.

This little one’s grandma has been a huge supporter of Photography by Brea from the beginning… a constant source of encouragement behind the scenes, and a frequent “liker” and “commenter” on my page.  It was so exciting for me to put her and her beautiful family in front of my lens and give them an opportunity to experience a session for themselves.

Meet this adorable little one – in all of her non-stop curiousness 😉 She kept me moving!! And I loved every second of it

Loved watching her with her Mom.  What was so great was watching Mom let her little one explore, play in dirt, pick up rocks and sprint around … all around just letting her be free but always having the motherly instinct to be just one step behind. So sweet…

The proudest Grandma.  She shed tears of happiness just watching her little granddaughter run around and play (which then made ME cry  of course)

And she loves her Grandpa too. He was always right by my camera helping me get her to smile and it worked every time!

I love this shot for so many reasons.  But mainly because I love how it looks like an engagement shot when these two have been married for YEARS.  Rock on, you two! 😉

Thank you SO MUCH for an incredible session.  You guys were wonderful to work with and that sweet girl couldn’t have been more fun to chase around and photograph.  Thank you for ALL of the ways that you support Photography by Brea… and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.  Until next time…
