I was so excited about heading to Pittsburgh to be able to work in the beautiful North Park with some awesome families over the July 4th holiday. I got a chance to see some friends, and meet some new ones in my two-day photography stint there and it couldn’t have been more fun.
And it also resulted in a Photography by Brea first… I had the opportunity to allow another photographer to put down her camera and let me capture her and her husband to help document their upcoming five-year anniversary. (Check out Chelsie at Images of Grace Photography) I met Chelsie through my photography networking on Facebook and was SO HONORED that she reached out to me about doing this session when she heard I was coming to the Burgh.
I walked away from this session just feeling HAPPY. Hard not to when you hang out with these two. They have such a cool relationship that is a combination of laughter, love and a lot of respect for each other… and it only took me an hour of working with them to realize that. I was REALLY proud of Chelsie for how at ease she was being out of her element not BEHIND the camera… but I think it had a lot to do with the fact that the place she’s most comfortable is right next to Chris…
If what they say is true about laughter being the key to a great relationship … these two have a lot of life ahead of them together…
Love these individual shots! And love how willing Chris was to jump in front of my camera – I usually get at least a little push back from the guys but I think he secretly loved it 🙂 (Right, Chris?!)
Thank you SO MUCH to the both of you for such a great session. As I said to you before – the word I want to use to describe what it’s like to be around you two is “refreshing” – such a great couple with a lot of love between you and a lot of kindness to share with those around you. Thanks for letting me be one of them! Until next time…
