This family, this family, this family.  After a maternity, newborn, 6-month and now one-year session with this little man – it’s safe to say that I am super attached to this crew and just feel so grateful that photography brings me to people like this.  I was so excited to return to their home for the first time since doing his newborn shots and have the “I can’t believe it’s been a year” moments with them.

Nothing was better than pulling up to their house and seeing this little guy in Mom’s arms waving at me from the door before I even got out of my car!   And within minutes of being there I had my camera out and snapping … because let’s be honest … how can you NOT photograph this little dude all done up in his big guy tie?!

This one kills me.  Those sweet little cheeks! (If only there could have been another photographer capturing the show that Mom and Dad were putting on behind me!)

We topped off his at-home session with a little first birthday celebrating. Even though his party was a couple of weeks away – we snuck him some cake.  Birthdays are supposed to be month-long celebrations right?!

SUCH A FUN SESSION – an unbelievable way to top off an unbelievable time of photographing this little one’s first year of life.  Guys – it’s been an honor to document your story … cannot wait to turn the next photographic page in August for his 18-month session!  Thanks for everything.
