Hey blogging land!  It’s been a while – but it’s nice to be back.   And it’s really nice to be back on the blog with this family that I photographed last month as one of my first transition-from-summer sessions!

I met these guys for the first time last year when they welcomed this little dude into their world.  We had an incredible newborn session just full of adorable-ness and a meeting with these parents that made me feel like I knew them forever.  So – I was pretty excited to get to see how much has changed in a year and what kind of personality/spirit this little guy had taken on.

Well, I could tell you all about him… but I’ll let you see for yourself what kind of sweetness this one possesses.  I could have packed up my camera after the first 15 minutes and called it a day … but good thing we didn’t. This session was magic… start to finish…

Mama and baby (<–they’ll always be babies!) pictures kill me.  Especially at one year.  They go from being in our bellies, to being in our arms, to exploring the world on their hands and knees to running off on their wobbly legs.  ALL IN A YEAR.

So fun watching these two together.  C’s face says it all – pretty sure he’s happy to be next to Dad.
