I had the honor of photographing this family back in the fall before the addition of their sweet baby girl a month later! And I was so excited when they asked me to do new family photos for them to help fill the walls of their new home!
We decided to do a few indoor photos with my portable blankets/backdrops with this smiley 6-month angel before heading outdoors. How great is this bloomer-and-headband set made by SkylarRoo’s
Big bro is so cute with his lil sis
Then we headed outside to one of my favorite spots – Walker Road Park in Avon Lake. Just love the greenery, flowers, pond and…… bugs?? This little guy wasn’t too fond of the one circling his head!
Once we convinced him there was nothing to be scared of… he delivered this!
And this little one wasn’t minding the outdoors either. Just loungin…
And… talk about a family who knows EXACTLY how to coordinate for a family photo shoot. I always express to my clients to not be “matchy” but instead, coordinate tones so that the focus is on each person’s face and not any “loud” logos/images on the clothing or clashing colors. How cute are they? Love how Mom used the headband and band around the hat to pull in the red from her dress. PERFECT!
I love this pic. And Little Miss rocking the heart-shaped shades makes it ten times more fantastic!
Love <3
Before a family shoot is over I always like to sneak in at least one or two pics with just Mom and Dad. When you have children – so much of the time and energy is spent focusing on them, it’s fun to have them put the focus on each other even if for just a few minutes. These two were getting a huge kick out of me trying to pose them – and their laughter at me turned into a super cute shot … so I’ll take it!
THANK YOU GUYS for your amazing support and friendship as I continue to grow my business! Looking forward to doing more of these sessions in the future 🙂
