A group of this couple’s friends went in together and purchased their newborn session as a baby shower gift! (awesome, right!?)  And talk about anticipation!  This baby girl decided to make her grand entrance ten days late – and kudos to Mom who simply said, “It wasn’t that bad. I felt great!”

This little one is too sweet for words.  Adorable. distinct features… looks you right in the eye… holds her head up for several seconds like it’s not a big deal… and (my favorite) she has an amazing full head of hair!!  When I walked into the door at their home I couldn’t get my set up ready fast enough 🙂

Mom and Dad had her sound asleep for me when I arrived – but little miss social recognized there was someone in the house, and was bright eyed for the first hour of the shoot!

This pic melts my heart.  If you follow my work – you know by now how much I love capturing the glow of a new parent as they bond with their baby.  And these two couldn’t be more in love with their daughter.

And how AMAZING is this display in her nursery.  Mom got the idea from Pinterest and it is one of the cutest ways I’ve ever seen to display books to see all the different titles and covers.
