I met this family back in May when I photographed their daughter for her 2-year photos! (The infamous “Dad blowing bubbles” picture on my homepage that everyone loves!)  And I was honored when they welcomed me into their home to capture the newest member of their family.

Mom warned me that I’d need to bring my “big” hats … because this little dude entered the world at a whopping 10lbs 13oz!  And he was ALL 10+ pounds of absolute sweetness.  He slept almost the entire time and when he took a break to eat – I snuck outside and hung out with big sis and her two sweet golden retrievers.  Such an awesome session…

Future newborn clients who have big brothers/big sisters in the family – take a page from this Mom’s book!  She planned ahead and had big sis take her nap early while we snapped photos of the baby.  When she woke up – she was happy and well-rested and was ALL about taking pictures with her brother.  She couldn’t have been sweeter.

And was even loving up her dog. (How amazing is this?)
