I feel like I just swoon every time I write about a newborn – but there’s something just so awesome, sweet and innocent about each of these sweet babies I work with.  I spend a lot of time cuddling them during their shoot to get them into their dreamy baby state – and just as much as I love that time, I also love watching Mom and Dad’s reaction when they see their little mini-me’s having their debut in front of the camera.

Mom and I exchanged a lot of emails on the front of this shoot… and we both warned each other about being sentimental when there’s NOT pregnancy/post-giving-birth hormones going on.  And we definitely had moments in this session where we all were a little emotional over the shear joy of the fact that this awesome couple welcomed this amazing little man into their lives…

I’m pretty sure this is when the waterworks turned on!  Something so awesome about seeing two people fall in love with each other more when they see the other one become the parent to their child.

This guy wanted some time in the spotlight too. So we gave it to him. 😉

Congratulations to an AMAZING couple on the arrival of your first son.  What an honor it was so meet you guys and capture this long-awaited time for you.  Wishing you millions of little moments just like this one in your future. Until next time…
