I have been so excited to share this newborn session with all of you.   We photographed this little lady in early May, and going back through these images just makes my heart happy.  This session was a beautiful combination of a gorgeous,happy baby girl and two parents who just ooze love between them and shed kindness to the people around them … and put together we had just a really calm, enjoyable couple of hours documenting this time for them.

Mom and I had a really great phone consultation prior to our session – she had put in a lot of thought into what types of images were important to her.  Our goal?  Simple, classic images of baby girl, and images of them as a family that will forever paint the picture of what it was  like when they became a family of three.

How do I even begin to tell you about Mom and Dad… first, I can tell you that they are just phenomenal to be around as people.  And as a couple… they are so dang cute. Seriously.   Dad was ready to help Mom whenever she needed it… and she looks at him like there’s nothing else she needs in the world…  they cuddled together on the couch while their baby was being photographed… and frame after frame after frame you can just see the love that’s between them that is now being passed on to this little girl.  There was just something about these two that was so refreshing.  Their little girl is a lucky one…

Thank you both… SO MUCH… for a really great afternoon together.  So happy for you to have brought this little one in the world, and so grateful to have been the one to be able to capture it. (Thanks for taking the scheduling “risk” with me. I’ll never forget that!) And I’m humbled to have the chance to photograph her again at her next milestone.  Can’t wait, you guys.  Until next time…

A big thanks to my sidekick for the day.  His tail hilariously made a few photobombs in a couple of shots –  but I love when I have a furry friend to hang out with when the baby is taking a break 🙂
